Spiritual Partnership: The Journey to Authentic Power
Gary Zukav's latest book, "Spiritual Partnership: The Journey to Authentic Power" invites us to change our world by using our relationships as opportunities for spiritual growth.
In the book he divides all people into two categories. The first category of people are referred to as"five sensory" or spiritually rigid. People in this group are unwilling or unable to look within themselves and instead blame their suffering on bad luck, illnesses, betrayal or miserable relationships. In order to feel valued and secure it is necessary to manipulate and control others.
The second category of people is referred to as "Multi-sensory" or spiritually empowered. This group of people are are able to look within and make internal changes. By managing their moods and emotions the need to blame a spouse or life's circumstances is lost. This ability allows multi-sensory relationships to be authentically empowered.
Zukav's defines a spiritual partnership as a partnership between equals for the purpose of spiritual growth. Spiritual partnerships can be between spouses, significant others, family members, friends and co-workers.
Partners in a spiritually empowered relationship consult intuition, listen for guidance, create an intention and act with a loving and empowered heart. Outcomes are surrendered. They are based on love and trust instead of fear and doubt.
Spiritual partnerships are about recognizing and lessons for self-growth and evolution. The purpose is to help each other grow into a better and more loving person. Spiritual partners feel safe enough to share emotions, intentions and examine projections which allows them to grow in understanding and compassion. Spiritually empowered partners recognize what's important in their relationship, find peace and love within and then share it with the world.
Gary uses specific examples, guidance and guidelines to enable the reader to explore emotions, intentions, intuition and create spiritual growth in our relationships and world.

What books have you read that have helped you become authentically empowered?
I always love explanations that speak to both my heart and my mind.
I have 3 books that compliment each other beautifully and those serve as my anchors and guides on my return to my authentic self.
A Course In Miracles, ‘Love without End’ by Glenda Green and ‘the Ringing Cedar Series’ by Vladimir Megre.
They are all saying the same thing but in such a different way that I at least have a chance of ‘getting’ their powerful message.
Happy Holiday to you, love Wilma
