Bold Living Fever: Catch It!

When we become paralyzed by our fear it can be difficult to take bold action. We become fixated on what we can't do and lose sight of what we can do.

The power of all of our actions both big and small, count.

Read on and ponder the following thoughts !

It's easy to forget what really matters.

What does matter?

Everything!

Every fear you face. It matters.

Every risk you take. It matters.

Each time you ask for help. It matters.

Standing up for what  you believe in. It matters.

Letting go of fear of rejection, jealousy, and greed. It matters.

Making the scary phone call. It matters.

Challenge yourself to be more. It matters.

Taking your self-love to the next level. It matters.

Telling someone "no." It matters.

Telling someone, "I love you." It matters.

Believing in yourself. It matters.

Taking a break from electronics. It matters.

One small step in the right direction. It matters.

One day of sobriety. It matters.

Not playing it safe. It matters.

Being decisive. It matters.

Going the extra mile. It matters.

Commitment to excellence. It matters.

Daring to be different. It matters.

Changing one small habit. It matters.

Recreating yourself. It matters.

Planning for bold initiatives. It matters.

Forgiving someone. It matters.

Dropping your story. It matters.

Creating a new story. It matters.

Making amends. It matters.

Letting go of the old. It matters.

Making room for the new. It matters.

A kind act, a loving smile, a big heart. It matters.

Dropping your expectations of others. It matters.

Think big, take a risk, shine bright. It matters.

The awesome power of bold living. It matters.

What aspect of bold living matters to you?

    Tess,

What I’m taking away from this post is encouragement to celebrate every “little” positive step that I take each day. Your list shows so clearly that there are far more than we probably realize and acknowledge. So it feels like a real celebration!

YES! It all matters because it’s all part of you, makes you who you are, shapes you as you grow. Thanks for the reminder!

I love how you help me whittle away fear by giving easily understood and do-able tips. Always a pleasure to read your wisdom.

Since “shine” is my word of the year, the “shine bright” part of your title definitely caught my attention! Everything matters. So true.

As you share here “it all matters”! Every single moment that we live and breathe matters…sometimes we live more fully and breathe more deeply, but on all levels, it all matters. Thank you for the lovely reminder:)

    Hi Tess,

Powerful post Tess. It all does matter, doesn’t it? You’ve inspired me to let go of the fear that holds me back and go for living life in a big way. As they say, this is not a dress rehearsal, so we should live large and follow our dreams.

    Hi Tess,

I love it! I wrote extensively on all things FEAR last year and we’re moving past all that and embracing the possibilities, the opportunities, the realizaton that each of us must shine in our own way. It’s just a matter of changing the way we think about it, and beginning to control the feelings that come along with it. I like “dropping your story” the best – that changes everything, doesn’t it!

I am here to testify that letting go and creating a new story is working so unbelievably well for me! It is working so well that many of my professional associations I have formed since late September cannot believe I was not always this boldly goofy, yet productive and original! A new story of yourself that needs to be much more centered in the deepest recesses of your heart and soul: that is the ticket, Tess.

What a great post! I especially like the letting go of our expectations of others. I have some little fears I’ve been working on lately so every time I come to your blog I’m inspired. Thanks Tess!

Everything has changed since I started giving gratitude, thinking in terms of gratitude and realizing there is in fact huge abundance.

So sad when I see people with monetary abundance not happy, stressed, wanting more, and trying to run as hard as they can to get more. I recognize it because I was once there.

Mahalo for so many thoughts on it matters.

Being original and authentic matters to me and of course your whole bold living list, but that is very important to me! Happy New Year!

    • Tess January 9, 2012, 12:04 pm

Yes I agree. I have high expectations for others to be authentic. Hmmm I’m sometimes disappointed.

    Tess,
This is wonderful post! Part living bold to me means welcoming challenges and even looking for them. Challenges can be exciting and amazing opportunities for growth. It takes a shift in perspective though. I know I tend to want things to go smoothly and be easy but I realize when things are always easy I’m not pushing myself enough.

    • Tess January 9, 2012, 12:03 pm

      Hi Joe,
I know what you mean. I’ve not pushed myself to create and that’s all changing. I’m launching my ecourse tomorrow. I’m excited about breaking through that barrier.

    Vous êtes incroyables.
Someone who understands: What Matters?…. Everything Matters!!!

    Work like you don’t need the money;
    Dance like no one’s watching;
Love like you have never been hurt…

Hello my friend! Everything does matter. The expression that always rubs me the wrong way is ‘don’t sweat the small stuff.’ Well, sometimes the small stuff is what makes up the big stuff and is what really MATTERS.

‘Dropping your expectations of others. It matters.’ So very true.

Thank you for all these reminders, I’m going through a difficult personal time and really needed this today!
