I have a guest post "The Courage to Emerge" at Brenda Strausz's blog. We'd love it if you could stop by and say hello.

We all know life is what we make it. Today I invite you to answer the question,

Life is good because you’re in it, the sun shining through green leaves looks so pretty, hibiscus tea tastes so boldly wonderful (same for donuts and potato chips,) the cool shady lake park we live only a 10-minute walk from is absolutely magical this time of year, and I have a lot of peeps on this planet who love me.

(And add many many more to that list.)

:)

Hi Tess,
The image here is precious. I makes me want to have a party.
Wanna come?
–Life is good because you blog & you’re my friend.
–Life is good because your community rocks.
–Life is good because I can walk today.
–Life is good because I can eat sherbet for breakfast if I so choose.
–Life is good because I can see.
–Life is good because I have a roof over my head.
–Life is good because I’m making organic zucchini&sweet onions w/kidney beans for lunch today.
–Life is good because we have the choice to see the good in life.
~~xo~~

Hi Tess,
Iife is good because:
- I have my family around me, healthy, happy and safe
- my sister and her family just moved nearby
- I have wonderful friends, and spent a good part of yesterday hanging out with one of them
- I have the blessing of a job when so many don’t
- I have a safe, clean, mostly tidy home for my family to live happliy in
- I have food in the cupboard, clean water to drink, a garden to play in, clothes to wear, books to read, money to buy what we need when we need it, this computer to type this message on..
- I have some wonderful blogging friends, and the constant amazement that I can connect with people all over the world – something that I know will only contribute to making the world a better place
- you asked the question, and made me stop and think!
I hope you have a great day!
Topi :)

Having had a brain injury 3 years ago really made me appreciate the basic, simple things like never before. So my answers may seem kind of odd, but here goes:
- Life is good because my arms swing naturally and know what to do with themselves when I walk.
- Life is good because I can think clearly and remember stuff (most of the time.)
- Life is good because I can talk much more understandably without people constantly saying “What?” or “How much has she had to drink today?”
- Life is good because I have so much abundance and recognize it now instead of focusing on the lack.
-Life is good because I have the tools to keep myself healthy and balanced and to see life as good no matter what happens.
- Life is good because I genuinely like and love myself.

Life is Good…
–simply because I choose to see the good in life..
Each day I expand upon that with individual moments:
–I am blessed to be the mother of two angels precious as can be whom God trusted to put in my guidance…
–I live my dream of making my home on a boat..through the beauty filled moments, through the frustating moments I give praise for all because the bottom line is *I am living a dream*
–I am wrapped in Love and Light each day, because I allow my heart to remain open to it…
–I am surrounded by people in my physical life, and online community, who daily reflect to me the most amazing talent, beauty, love, inspiration, courage, wisdom, friendship, hope, joy….
–there is magnificent splendor all around me when I choose to remain open to See it..today I fell in Love with the absolutely most beautiful fig tree, with the sunshine peeking through the clouds, with
the wind gently blowing through my harbor…
–today, I took myself on a date and ate the most delicious Indian food, found glory in nature, found a store of butterflies glitter and fairies (all my fav’s), bought myself a trinket (a vanilla citrus candle), and ended with a delectable truffle from the gourmet chocolate store..
Life is good because I am loved beyond measure exactly as I am exactly where I am..and nothing external may change that..I stand in Faith and Truth..the foundation for all else in my life…

Tess,
I think life is good because every day we get to stage our dreams. Each day is a chance to start over. No matter what happened the day before – each day holds a promise that today could be the day that you move just a bit closer to your dreams. Life is good because we have choices in how we learn our life lessons – the hard way if we’re still asleep, or the easy way if we’ve awakened. Life is good because we get to see love create miracles. We get to see how love heals and restores and transcends all. Yes, life is very good!

Life is good because today I heard a rockabilly band in the park.

Life is good because today, on three different occasions, I looked at my daughter and fell in love with her all over again.

Life is good because I saw an amazing sunset, turned around to go home, and was greeted by the most amazing view of the full moon.

Life is good because God/Goddess/The Universe sent an angel to hug me today, pray for me, and pass along the message that He/She/It loves me more than I can even imagine.

Life is good because I see the beauty in nature, the beauty in other people, and the beauty in myself.

Life is good because I make it so.

Love always,
Jay

Life is good because every moment, with every breath, we are learning.
Life is good because every moment, with every breath, we have the opportunity to grow.
Life is good because every moment, with every breath, we have a chance to do something meaningful.
Life is good because every moment, with every breath, we have an opportunity to help somebody else.
Life is good because every moment, with every breath, we have a choice.
Life is good because I am the creator of my own reality, and I choose to make it good.

Tess! What a perfectly simple post.
Life is good for a few reasons:
1) Because that photo is simply awesome and I found myself saying, “It’s my birthday!” after viewing it.
2) Because I’m surrounded by love, and because I AM love.
3) Because you’re going to be at New Moon this year!!! (Oh yeah! I’m still doing a happy dance over that one!)
4) Because I can choose to be in high vibration as easily as I can choose to be in low vibration. At least, that’s how it’s felt lately.

Big hugs & lots of love!
Megan

Hello Tess!

Life is good because:

I am alive and can see, smell, hear, feel and can experience!

I am a father and have three totally awesome daughters.

I am blessed to still have my parents, who are awesome by the way.

I am friends with caring people like you

I am aware of the good that is everywhere, if one chooses to see it.

Bless you my friend

Because I am about to go on a trip – which is still a dream – and embrace my childhood friends whom I have found – in a miraculous reunion….And because as Karl says, we can love whatever we want (assuming we live in a wonderful free country like the US of course….:) – Freedom not to be taken for granted!)
