All you need

This Friday's Hit List is about bloggers that are making a difference. I hope they move you as much as they have me.

1. The Daily Love is a FREE daily "e-multivitamin for your soul" sent to your inbox, daily. I assure you these are the best multivitamins ever. Simply delicious!

In August of 2009, after almost a year of posting quotes on Twitter and sending emails, Kim Kardashian suggested to her over 2 million followers that they should follow @TheDailyLove. Over night, The Daily Love went from 1,000 followers to 10,000 and now has over 300,00 followers on Twitter and is growing!

2. GabbyB.TV Gabby Bernstein is an amazing inspirational speaker. Her insights come from "A Course In Miracles." Gabrielle makes spirituality hip. If you do nothing else today…check her out! By the way, I found her through The Daily Love.

3. Sacred Awakenings Series is a free global teleseries. Listen to 21 of the worlds most respected spiritual leaders answer the question, "How can we live a truly sacred life?  Sign up and listen live or download the recordings at your convenience.

4. Jasmine Lamb blogs at All Is Listening She  helps people heal their hearts, love themselves, and have fulfilling relationships with others.

5 Bloggers Bring Love to A Crazy World

I find Jasmine to be a sincere blogger who goes out of her way to help others build community. She has a big heart and a big love!

5. A post at The Half Way Point, "Kindling Fires for Japan, the U.S., and Congo," inspired me to become a volunteer at St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix.

What inspired you this week?

    Hi Tess!

I’ll have to check out your inspiring bloggers! My inspiration this week came twice – Monday was bittersweet as I said good-bye to my husband and returned him to Kuwait. The sunrise I witnessed and photographed was breath taking and reminded me to be grateful and appreciate every second I had with Richard.

And just last night, I was a fly on the wall to one of the most beautiful homecoming’s I’ve been a part of. (and I wasn’t a part of this one and didn’t want to be) – my son-in-law surprised the hec out of my bonus daughter and grand daughter. He simply showed up on the doorstep, knocked on the door, and she went flying into his arms. It was beautiful! (And then I hid out in the laundry room so their little family good enjoy the moment by themselves!)

    Tess,

Thank you so much for the shout out and for sharing the work of all these people.

Here is what inspires me this week:
Last night I attended a dinner partly with a group of open-hearted women. We sat around a table and ate good food, toasted to our lives, sent our love and hearts to our friends in Japan, and ate souffle for dessert!

Yoga! The practice of coming back to this moment, the sensations of my body, my breath, and knowing this has been being practiced and cultivated for thousands and thousands of years.

The blogs Ever Ours and Utterly Engaged for starting the For Japan With Love blogging campaign.

    I love this crazy world!

Tonight, I have just attended a business conference with speakers who are successful not only in their business endeavors, but in helping others achieve their dreams as well. I’m inspired with their statement that they couldn’t have reached their success without being able to help others too, along the way.

    Hi Joyce,
it’s been said the quickest way to get what you want is to help others. I think the trap is expecting the same people to return a favor. We never know where are good will come from. I like to drop judgment and be surprised. Sometimes it’s not easy. I feel good helping others period.

I think that there is a ton of love being shown and shared in this world; it just doesn’t always show up in the media. And what really inspires me is when people like you are so moved and respond by taking action. Reading or watching isn’t enough. Feeling good after hearing a wonderful story isn’t enough. It’s when we let that spark in our hearts move us and lead us to share love through action that can and will change the world for the better. Thank you, Tess.

Tess, I came over from Angela’s blog after I read your beautiful comment there on the post about Emotional drowning. I could almost smell the petunias and the pansies. I lost my mother a year ago – I felt the exact same thing on my birthday – when I realized that not only was it the first time she wasn’t around, but would never be. At home, we all do the things we perceive she would have been happy about, and that somehow makes us feel collectively better.

Well – As a subscriber, I already enjoy the wonderful wisdom you share. Just thought I would thank you for the introduction to all the lovely people here. :-)

I love Belinda’s halfway point blog too. I especially love the one called “waves of hope.” I love how beautiful words can have many meanings, and how we can each find a nugget to move us. The way words are put together can be like a beautiful dance :)
