“Like the trees, I longed to sink the roots of my soul deep into the earth and raise the arms of my spirit high into the heavens.” -Robin Easton, Naked in Eden

Naked+in+Eden COVER 166x250 Naked in Eden with Robin Easton                    Giant Fig Tree Naked in Eden with Robin Easton

Naked in Eden: Healing and Transformation in the Australian Rainforest is the story of Robin Easton’s profound healing in Nature while living in the wild.

She takes us along on her unimaginable, life-changing, and profound year where she learns to communicate with nature, the animals earth and Spirit. While letting go of fear, she sheds her clothes and lives naked in the jungle. She heals.

Robin shares in vivid detail how she’s tested mentally, physically and spiritually, as she comes face-to-face with her terror of clinging leeches, poisonous snakes, deadly crocodiles, stinging tress and gigantic spiders. She becomes one with all.

With Robin as our guide we are invited to ignite our own senses, see the lush green, feel the energy, smell the earth and reestablish our own “oneness” or connection to the natural world, society and each other. She loves on an elevated level.

The reader also is allowed an up close and personal view of her relationship with her soul mate, Ian, as she simultaneously defines her own space and place in her world as well as his. She learns to be an individual within the “coupleship.”

Naked In Eden is thrilling, moving, and awe-inspiring. It is written with love, compassion and wisdom. Robin’s pure honesty, peacefulness and joy are forever imprinted in the paths of the rainforest and the universal heart of mankind.
She's writing a sequel.

Robin Easton is being referred to as the "21st Century John Muir," who also realized that everything is connected to everything else. I couldn’t agree more!

Get yourself a copy of "Naked in Eden" then kick off your shoes, pull off your socks, and get barefoot in nature.

We're only months away from the holidays. Robin's book makes the perfect gift. Tie several in ribbons of love and hand deliver them to your favorite people. Invite each one into a world of connection, peace and harmony. The Universe will respond in joyful gratitude! I've included the book trailer below, it's delightful.

How beautiful it was to listen to Robin’s voice. I felt as if I was in the rain forest with her.
We can never have too many voices touting the sacredness of Mother Earth. I am drawn to read this book and to learn more about Robin and her spiritual journey.

Tess, this is awesome to read! I cannot wait to get Robin’s book and dive in for myself. When you used the phrase “loves on an elevated level” I thought, “YES!” That’s the perfect way to describe Robin. I’m also intrigued by what she included on being in relationship… “She learns to be an individual within the ‘coupleship.’” A topic near and dear to my heart.

    Great book # 488, here I come!

Dearest Tess, I am just sitting here very overwhelmed. To experience or feel my live and myself through your insights here is very moving and expansive for me. Your insights are beautiful Tess. As I read along and got to this part, I just lost it:

“Robin’s pure honesty, peacefulness and joy are forever imprinted in the paths of the rainforest and the universal heart of mankind.”

You know, Tess, Nature is amazing, because even way back then at that young age, I was aware that this was happening. That Nature was imprinting me and that “I” was also imprinting Nature. THAT was when I began to feel, understand and know my own worth. I began to KNOW that I was “part of” and not “apart from” Existence. And THAT is when I began to know with my entire being that I WAS Love. We ALL are. We are immersed in a bath of intimately compassionate Love. A Love so vast, intelligent and tenderly compassionate that it can love soooo many and yet love each one intimately. I am in love with Love. I am Love. We all are. And THAT moves me to tears.

As I wrote “Nature was imprinting me and “I” was also imprinting Nature.” It made me feel how true it is that our thoughts, feelings and actions effect this fabric that we all “are”, that everything is. Although I feel the fabric will always “BE” no matter what we do, I also feel we can influence and strengthen it. We can actively claim our place in it, our affect on it and it on us. We can inspire it, uplift it, be part of its evolution and Greatness, just as it is part of us and our Greatness. There is no separation.

My dear sweet kind friend: I love how you place the link to your post: “Life In The Love Zone. Live It!” That is a remarkable post, one I cherished and recommend everyone to read. You really get it, Tess.

I am is awe of your deep kindness, insight and ability to love.
    Thank you dear Tess.
    I love you,
    Robin

ANGELA – Hi dear Angela, Thank you for the kinds words. My husband helped me do this book trailer. He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever known, and equally as creative. He coached me on “how to read”. It was one night when I was very tired after a long long day. He is also a patient man. :) Actually we laughed out guts out over the various ways one can read a single sentence. :)

MEGAN – Dearest Megan, your comment brought tears to my eyes. What I love is that the part you picked out, “loves on an elevated level”, is YOU inside and out. That is what you are all about, and what you so graciously live. I knew that the first time I shared with you. Your love is extremely pervasive, it just pours out of you very freely. Love is your trademark. :) .

ROB – Thank you for stopping in, Rob, and for your kind words. Adventure is what has changed my life. Although part of that adventure was all the wild creatures Tess mentions, however, “adventure” can simply be heading into the Unknown, or exploring our fears. Often our own inner fears are far more terrifying than highly poisonous snakes and crocodiles. I say in my book,

“…that day I chose to face my fear of the unknown. The minefield I tiptoed through lay mostly in my imagination. It had little to do with the rainforest and its supposed monsters.”

The Exception September 9, 2010 at 12:39 pm

I am hoping to read this book; however, it needs to be in audio for me to do it!! So let there be an audio version of it post haste as I want to share in Robin’s story… and experience the magic and evolution that is so beautifully expressed on her blog and through the reviews.

    Julie September 9, 2010 at 3:52 pm

    Tess, this is wonderful.

Robin, no one can write enough words to convey just what you offer the world.

With every sharing, you create new spaces of wonder that thrill and delight readers. Jonathon had it right when he tweeted “Naked in Eden” is mesmerizing. I’ve read it once, made a million notations, and need to read it again for more depth. There are SO many layers to it… You thrill and delight us in many arenas and on a multitude of levels. I better stop, or I’ll end up writing my review here, and I don’t want to distract from Tess’s wonderful findings.

    Thank you… :)

Wonderful opening quote to this post! Wow, Tess and Robin.

If that’s any indication of what’s to come… this book must be on my shelf. I’ve been seeing tweets and Facebook posts about this book but haven’t as of yet, come any closer to purchasing it.

Tess, this has brought me to that point. Thank you for sharing this review and Robin, congratulations, again. I can’t wait to read about your wonderful adventure.

Robin Easton September 9, 2010 at 5:59 pm

EXCEPTION – My dear friend I am so touched by your words. Your writing is lovely. I loved your use of the word: “evolution”. You have been a joy to get to know. You have been a bold and encouraging light in my life. More than you many know. I admire your courage. I am deeply touched and humbled by your words. Huge hugs, Robin

JULIE – Dearest Julie, I cannot read your words without tears in my eyes. Knowing you has confirmed so much in my life, everything. As you know I too am highly sensitive and living in the world so wide open, with no choice but to see it, feel it, hear it, sense it all, ALL of it. With no other choice but to live what I am, which is like Life itself, wide open. It’s WHO we are. There is so very much I want to say to you, and yet right in this moment I have only tears. It was like that on the phone. But I know with all my heart that you UNDERSTAND. You have reflected to me more than you can ever imagine. I don’t even know if there are words. For now, all I can say it that we are destined to meet, recognize, and see ourselves in each other. I am grateful to you for being here in this time now, with me, and in my life. I know that knowing you is going to help me better see and understand myself. I love you, Robin

I too loved Tess’ “wonderful findings” They moved me to great love and emotion. Her ability to see, understand and embrace Love is one of her greatest strengths. She freely honors that same love in us all. Tess has her priorities very very straight.

DAVINA – Dear Davina, thank you for stopping in, I always love seeing your face and comments. And I hope you enjoy my rainforest story. It was one of the most unforgettable times of my life, a time that forged my character, healed me and gave me back my life….gave me Life, period. Hugs, Robin

To be honest, I think I would have been scared sh*tless and would have never managed in Robin’s shoes or – rather – Robin’s bare feet. Tess, this is a perfect review. I’m only on chapter 1, but I can say wholeheartedly that you’ve captured the spirit, dynamism, audacity, and love contained in this book. This story holds a critical message for our time. I hope everyone will read it. Yes, everyone! Thank you for the beautiful review.

    Hilary September 10, 2010 at 12:03 am

Hi Robin and Tess .. I love Robin’s opening quote .. and I often think could I do that .. I doubt it & at 25 – well those days are long gone for me – these two brave souls, who understood ‘before their time’ the earth .. it’s where we should be – not in our concrete jungles.

But what an opportunity to get our heads into gear and to THINK and DWELL on these things – to remember, to pass on this message to others .. Tess as you so rightly say .. wrap up each book in ribbons of love and let others experience this wonderful gift to us. First thought – give ourselves this book, wrapped in the streams of life emanating from Robin’s words and images ..

Thank you .. I must order mine .. the book trailer is brilliant too .. really evocative .. Tess .. lovely review and heartfelt promotion so simply and succinctly put .. but Robin what an overwhelming life changing experience .. and to think you could both be ‘old bones’ out there .. instead of here instilling your wisdom to us. – Excellent – loved it .. I think Robin is so brave and bold to live with one in the wild. Truly amazing. Like one of the Avatar “Blue People” I picture her smiling and happy in nature — except for maybe the stinging trees. Ouch. And crocodiles? I think I could live that way, but I like my creature comforts too much to try.

Sounds like a very very intersting experience of a book. How awesome!!

    Take care, guys!

    Tess,

    Hi Tess

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this book and summarizing it all so well.

As you already know, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book by Robin deeply and loved sharing in her adventure and awakening.

This book will become a timeless classic and serve a remembrance for us all of the power of nature and her divine connection to us all.

This is a beautiful review. We all need to find ways to heal and Robin seems to have found her perfect remedy. My mother in-law would love to read this book. I’ll have to test the waters and see if she is interested.

Thanks Tess! I loved Robin’s video too. I’ve been meaning to watch it, but now I have. It’s wonderful.

    Lauren September 10, 2010 at 10:00 am

    Dear Tess,

It’s so wonderful to see the love and support flowing Robin’s way – I am so thrilled for her in the publication of her new, beautiful book!

Late last night I returned home from a business trip and was so excited to find it waiting for me in my mailbox. It’s beautiful and even though it was 1:00 am I couldn’t wait – I had to dig in a little. I love it already!

Robin is remarkable and my heart sings every time I see her beautiful countenance. She gives so much and it is heartwarming to see all the love the flowing to her as she births her baby into the world!

Thanks for loving Robin and I can’t wait to read your blog!

    Warm regards,
    Lauren

Robin Easton September 10, 2010 at 10:47 am

LANCE – Dearest Lance, Knowing you is like “coming home”. Every time I see your wide open beautiful smiling face, and read the words from your soul, I feel this heartwarming feeling of “family”. Like I am in a place of great comfort, acceptance and ease. Like I can let down my guard, sigh deeply and just relax. It’s an amazing feeling. It is the way you move out into the world, and what you offer everyone around you. I am so grateful that that your soul touches my life. Much love dear friend, Robin

SANDRA LEE – Dearest Sandra Lee, I read this and cried. How could I not?!! It is profoundly moving for me that you understand so immediately.

I went for a 4 mile barefoot walk across the high desert this AM (New Mexico). While walking I was remembering how someone who read this book, later said,” I would have like to know WHY you went to the rainforest. Although the book talks about my disconnection from society due to mild autism (and not being able to fit into the college/career/society sequence), and talks about me not being attached to anything or anyone, although it talks about Ian running from a powerful father and the pressure to take over the family business, although it tells how he is Australian, and although the book says that an Aussie friend told us about the remote and virgin Daintree rainforest and how we ought to see it— this person still wanted to know WHY I went. I realize that it can be very hard for any of us to understand something we’ve never experienced. What may be obvious to one is not for another.

I remember once reading that many explorers or mountaineers do what they do simply because the mountain is there. I STILL feel this way, Sandra, when I look out and see unknown mountain ridges, waterways, deserts and so on, I want to climb/explore them just because they are there. We often think we have to have a reason to do something, but we don’t. I think my greatest adventures often have no reason at all. It’s simply because the mountain or the forest is there, and I am alive.

I am deeply moved by your ability to be visionary. I have seen this in your writing. Whatever experiences you’ve had, and whatever life choices you’ve made, they have given you a great depth. I’ve noticed, just like here, even if the experiences is not one you’ve had or may even desire to have, you remain remarkably open. I find that AMAAAAZING!! That is THRILLING! It makes you compassionate, and allows you to “see” and “know” even that which you may not have experienced.

So when do what you are doing, it is not really the other person’s experience that we remain open to; it is Life itself that we remain open to, You may not notice it, but you are very much like this, and it affects all those around you and literally changes the world. I am grateful to be seen by you, and to connect with one who’s heart is still open. Bless you for that, Sandra. Much love, Robin

HILLARY – Dearest Hillary, your comment here is sooooooo delightful. It made me tear up and laugh out loud. You are just a one-of-a-kind character!! I love you! Who knows Hillary, I will probably one day return to the wild and live out my days in peace and green and communion with Mother Earth. Who knows? It probably won’t be this rainforest, but somewhere wild. Right now, I know Life is calling me in new directions, ones I barely yet understand. It is as intense as when I first went into that virgin rainforest, and was terrified of the poisonous snakes, stinging trees, crocodiles in the sea and paralysis ticks.

The only difference, now is, I know that I am just moving into a different type of jungle, and I can draw on past experience. I know that because I did it then, I can do it now. I am again being asked to grow in a way that (for me) is probably as drastic as the growth I went through in the forest. And just like then, I am oddly drawn to the challenge (“Can I do it? I have to find out.”). I am being stretched so far out of my comfort zone that I really don’t have a comfort zone these days. LOL!! :) And yet, if I had turned down the “calling” or challenge to go public with my book, a part of me would have ceased to exist.

I am heartened by your insight into my book trailer. That touches me so much, Hillary. Your heart embraces so much. Like Sandra Lee, whether you have experienced it or not does not matter to you. You are just open to Life. And your openness is not only stunningly beautiful to me, but it changes my life. I love for that dear soul. I hope you enjoy my intimate time in the rainforest. Much love, Robin

JANNIE – Dearest Jannie, You made me laugh!! :) I see you as quite an adventurer. You may love your creature comforts, but if you saw the aqua blue sea that is so warm, and the warm sand, and coconuts on the beach, and cool fresh water you can drink straight from the creeks, you might give up your creature comforts. Well, you would at least be tempted for at time. :)

I have yet to see the movie “Avatar” and everyone keeps telling me that I must. So, I guess I must!! Thank you for your kind comment here. I so appreciate it, and am sure Tess does too. Hugs and love to you dear Jannie, Robin

ALEX BLACKWELL – Oh dear wonderful Alex!! YES! You raise a great point here. Many of cannot tear off to some remote rainforest, due to family, kids, etc. Furthermore, the days are over when everyone on the planet can pick up and “go bush”. We are too many people now. However, your key point, which I am SO glad you made, is this: “I can re-connect with what’s most important in my life” YES! That is absolutely true. If we all took time to not only clearly define what is important to us, but then made steps toward increasing that in our lives, we would change the world. —Also, we can remember our roots right in our own backyards. Given the opportunity, kids do this naturally when left to play outdoors. Thank you for seeing the importance of focusing on what we value, no matter WHERE we are. It’s key. Huge hugs to you, Alex. Robin

EVITA – Dearest Evita, I am still reeling and processing all I experienced in reading and responding to your thoughts/feelings on “Naked in Eden”. And what you have said here really hit me hard (in a most profound way) because if my book did anything for others, I would hope that it was this. “…serve a remembrance for us all of the power of nature and her divine connection to us all.”

As the world changes, children all over the globe are growing up with almost not connection to Nature. And worse, many only experience a “virtual world” through constant TV, computer, cell phone, ipod and more. For these little beings Nature is only a concept, and a very vague one at that. Often their little bare feet and hands never touch the Living Earth. However, I know young people who live in a virtual words, but they are STILL seeking, yearning for something more. They sense something is missing, even if they don’t know what it is. So for these souls maybe my book will speak to the primal memory still stored in their cells, and will help guide them back to something more real.
—Bless you dear soul for seeing, for knowing, and for helping others remember. You have given me a great unforgettable gift. Much love, Robin

KARL STAIB – Hi dear Karl, It is such a happy feeling to see you again. When you said your mother-in-law might like this book, I was instantly curious if she is a hiker, camper, or “nature person”. LOL!! :) Regardless I hope she enjoys my wild adventure. Sadly, there aren’t too many untouched places left on the planet where we can still have this kind of adventure. However, I have found that Life is full of all kinds of adventures, if we are willing to embrace them. Thank you for stopping in my friend. Hugs, Robin

LAUREN – Dearest Lauren, how good it does my heart to see you. We are so kindred. I hardly know what to say; I am so moved by your comment here. I think you are the only other person I’ve ever heard thank someone for loving someone else. I just lost it when you wrote: “Thanks for loving Robin.” How amazing. That is a truly bounteous heart that is grateful for Tess loving ME. I can’t even think about that without crying. As to the love coming my way, I never knew that I could meet such ASTOUNDING souls via the energetics of the internet. Like you and Tess and others here, I genuinely love the people who’s lives touch mine. And just imagine, if that is happening all over the world for so many people on the internet, are we not raising the vibration of Love all over the planet? I hope so. I think so. —-Thank you for letting ME love YOU. Thank you SO SO much. Love, Robin

Dear Tom, what a joy to see your beautiful smiling face here. I just grinned the moment I saw you! I always remember the amazing meditation did about Nature, and recorded for your site. I used it several times. That had a profound effect on me and came on a very stressful day, like a gift just for me. :)

I am touched by your words and deep insight here. I just LOVE !!! how you say: “…the wildness that we all have within.” THAT, dear Tom, is BRILLIANT! Not only piercingly insightful on your part, but so true. We really do still have the wildness with us. I am designing workshops titled, “The Wild Within”. I am just hugging you seeing and sharing this. It really moved me, Tom. Hugs, Robin
