I knew Karen 2 weeks when I asked her to marry me and 5 weeks after that we were married. In June, we will have been married 37 years. I don't know that I could make a list of how we made it work. For me, it was that I always took the vows seriously, I never placed anything or anybody else more important than her, and she's always been my "bestest" of friends. I learned something new “make dates” I have to try that it makes a lot of sense.
