Hi Tess,
Fabulous list. I love number 5, Helen Keller was such an inspirational person, but this just reminds us that not being bold won’t necessarily mean we avoid any negative consequences…….so sod it and go for it!
Kate.
Love the new look, Love the quotes. Brilliant Tess – well done. I know how much time it takes to get this together. 23 always comes up in my life and is one of my favourites. Great work!

Hi Tess – I took your question and had fun with it for a post for Friday – and I have been asking my friends the same question. So, Tess, what would you do were you ten times bolder?
Love the quotes and the inspiration!
Great and bold quotes! Thanks for sharing.
10 times as bold as I am today would be dangerous. As a matter of fact I was that bold and I have clipped it back a few notches. There is a thin line between being bold and being arrogant and I have crossed that line many times. I am at the right level of bold for me now.

Hi Tess,
I love this one; “We need to be visionary; we have to be bold.”
I am seeing how we can live life differently, VASTLY differently. It requires boldly letting go of a lot of old ‘knowing’, of logic as I know it, of old expectations and thoughts while going into the unknown where the old no longer works.
It often freaks me out, it is not easy to go on an untrodden path, it sure requires boldness.
I am doing it though, I am more and more bolder in living my vision.
It is a great adventure and boldness is indeed a very good thing to promote as it is an essential part of becoming the change you want to see.
Thanks for asking, oh bold one, xox Wilma
Oooh, I love quotes. It’s a bold quote extravaganza!
Here’s my fav:
“Let us be bold. Let us be brave. Let us be together.”
-Brad Henry

Tess, if I were bolder I’d go streaking in public. But then I’d probably be arrested and would therefore be restricted to streaking in prison. Is there a further prison for repeat offenders in prison?
Here! Hear! this is marvelous…and I just wanted to tell you I used something else you wrote this week as my daughter’s birthday card….it was a great success…Thank your for your bold words and endeavors
Hi Tess,
I *am* ten times bolder..if I was ten times bolder than that shoot I’d be over the top:) Love your quotes!!!
And, Tony, I don’t know about streaking in public, but in my world it’s the norm to skinny dip..are you and Cass up for a visit..LOL:)

Hi Tess,
You up there and your site…look so amazingly vibrant! My heart skipped a happy beat when your site loaded
As for boldness…these awesome quotes list will definitely make me 200% more bold for sure.
Lots of love,
Z~
These are wonderful. If only I could tattoo each of these on my heart. #20 succinctly wraps up ALL these with five little words that I think even I can remember. Thank you, Robert Frost! And thank YOU, Tess, for all these. PS: I can’t get enough of your new site! I just LOVE it! Almost as much as I love you. xoxo ~J

Great Tess!
I love all the quotes. This was my favorite: “Those who take bold chances don’t think failure is the opposite of success. They believe complacency is.”
I have always lived by the adage – feel the fear and do it anyway. I guess that’s being bold. If you have an idea and a desire go for it! Don’t wait until the perfect conditions arise, or your perfect, etc. – just dive in and do it!
Hi Tess,
Found you through Change Your Thoughts. Being bold is one of the underrated factors in personal development.
I believe being bold has its virtue. Being bold helps to make us stand out. It also helps us to take the much needed leap to break out of our comfort zone and grow.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Vincent

Mark,
Hhhmmmm I have to think about that. To me bold is fun and arrogant isn’t. I know you’d lean to the fun and brave side. I’ll join you there.
Angela,
We only need to act as if…with confidence of course and we’re capable of most anything. I agree the conditions are never perfect and we will never arrive. Thanks for your visit to the bold life.
Julie,
I’m thinking these are already tatooed on your heart. Thanks for the compliment on my site, I’m enjoying it as well. And…love ya more;)
Z.
You inspire so many people it’s my pleasure to give back. I’ll be sure to watch for you bold changes and let me know if I can join you in anything fun and bold.
Hilary,
I wish I knew when my children were growing up not to take on their energies! Oh I would have saved myself from so many teenage moods;) I remember when I worked in prison as a counselor my friend told me to put myself in a big pink bubble of light before going in the door. It worked. Yes Simon packs a lot into one article doesn’t he?
Joy,
Yes you are Bold and I think already over the top. And that’s why we all love you…keep showing us the way Joy. Happy Friday.
Patricia,
I’m honored that you used my words in her birthday card. Anytime my friend;) You just gave me a shot of happy.
Tony,
Nooooo don’t go there;) I’ll bet you could teach cartooning there and make them all smile! Check Joy’s invite and let me know when you go.
Suzen,
LOL are you enjoying your summer home? Is the work finished. How about offering a retreat there? I hope you’re having a fun filled summer and your classes are giving you the info you need on your new endeavor. Let me know how you’re doing.
Simon,
Just don’t tell hubs cuz he doesn’t think I like cooking so we eat out a lot! Oh and I love all nighters next time sleep more before joining me here;)
Evita,
Surprisingly it wasn’t easy to create. There aren’t a lot of bold quotes to choose from compared to happiness and love etc. Hmm maybe I should begin a list of my own.
Vared,
I like that one as well. And I love your blog!
Sandra Lee,
Yes these are so amazing and nothing is stopping us except us. Crazy, eh?
Lori,
What…you’re a few steps ahead of me girlfriend but I’m coming up from behind as fast as I can. I think that is an awesome tagline. Even title of a book. You?
Hi Wilma,
You are out there on the cutting edge and I appreciate you being so raw, open and bold on your blog. You are an example for anyone who wants to take their lives to the next level.
Jay,
You’re awesome. I hope you’re still planning on visiting me in the fall. Sedona here we come;)
Hi Cath,
LOL on the shoes…I can just see you at your computer thinking I’m crazy. And I was!
I did go to Toastmasters years back and because I’m speaking again I’ve just joined again. It’s call memorizing and practicing until the cows come home. I’ve never seen a paid professional use notes or read unless you’re the President or something;)
It depends on what you’re purpose is. Thanks!
Julie,
Ditto!
Hi Tess
Saw that you had a new avatar so came over to take a closer look.
Love the avatar and love the new header.
I’d say that was a pretty bold move.

Hi Tess – What a great new look for your blog! And that’s certainly a boatload of quotes you pulled together (or maybe I should say a boldload). Many of them speak to me, but I’ve always particularly loved the Goethe quote. I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard it about 25 years ago!

Tess,
I like bold quotes, I should have known, bold quotes by bold life! I like 27. “How bold one gets when one is sure of being loved” by Sigmund Freud. He knew stuff.
Congratulations on being featured in online magazine!
These bold quotes make me want to do everything that has been on my “to do” list now! Thank you Tess for sharing your passion for life with us and inspiring us to live in our fullness!
Love to all!
Hi Tess – Who knew there were so many “bold” quotes. I love the world “bold” and I love your blog name.
I used to have the word bold in my tagline. It was “bold advice for business success”. But I wanted to fit in the word “life” and it wouldn’t all fit in my header. Hopefully, when I get a redesign I can get some boldness back into my blog.
My favorite is…
“How bold one gets when one is sure of being loved”
-Sigmund Freud
It’s amazing how much more confident when I let love flow freely into my life.
I love these quotes!!! Great inspiration for me today.
