I love Gary's work! And I will definitely read this book-thank you for the recommendation. It surprises me how many of your readers are unfamiliar with him. So, I'm glad you've generated interest!
What speaks to me most is the term "multi-sensory" and all that is covers. I've yet to fit in a category, but if I were to fit, this would be the one I aspire to:)
Much good Energy to your mom!

I just love the idea of the two categories and completely agree as I see that all around me. And I love the term he uses "mulit-sensory" - how appropriate!I have not read anything from Gary previously, so for me, I guess it would all be new material.
Thanks again Tess for sharing!

Altho I don't believe I mentioned it, I too felt this book kind of a re-hash of his earlier ones. I still liked it, but beyond the multi-sensory thing, it wasn't really new stuff. But then let's face it, how many ways can you regurgitate the same basic messages? I found Dyer and Eckhart Tolle the most life-changing personally. After gobbling books for 62 years, I'm about at my saturation point with this "theme" - at some point you just have to close the books and start LIVING it!Well done!

And my gosh, it seems that most of the books I've read in the last ten years have been empowering, including yours! (smile) It's always fun to get another perspective, though. I believe that deep down, each of us knows everything we could ever read about or learn from others. We simply need to be reminded, and have that knowledge brought to the surface through an experience we have (i.e., reading, interacting with someone, etc.).Much love to you, Tess! Oh, and you're right --- that interview with Maggie on The Jungle of Life was just... WOW. What a woman.

Wonderful sounding book! I guess his disclipline of being a boxer helped enormously - but I'm not sure I read it in the book. Thanks - so interesting .. especially with what I'm experiencing now - it's a book I need to read in the forseeable future .. all the best - Hilary
