I think the question of whether you will do your part in particular needs to be posed to themselves by the heads of major corporations and other members of the super wealthy/powerful world – and by the politicians whose political campaigns they finance.

The gap between rich and poor has been growing by leaps and bounds worldwide throughout our lifetimes. A tinier percentage of people than ever are now determining humanity’s future. For example, unless industry goes green, going green in our personal lives just won’t do much of anything since the overwhelming preponderance of greenhouse gases are from industrial emissions – these dwarf even what comes out of our cars (can’t recall the exact stats on this, but I was amazed).

A high hurdle for our species may be that those with the most interest in obtaining wealth and power tend to be folks who are interested in it not for the good they can do but egoistic reasons. So overall, some pretty unenlightened people end up in leadership positions around the world…

Hi Tess, I am reminded of two sayings. I think both apply here. First of all, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Yes, we need BOLD. Second, we don’t want a bigger piece of the pie, we want a whole new pie. Nice points, thanks for the encouragement.

We all HAVE to read this post often to be able to stay motivated. ! I love it love it love it!
So empowering….I just started exercising today….walking..was doing yoga…but have included walking. Apparently my hips dont respond to yoga
So this is a great motivator for me. And we are going through the financial crunch too…you have hit such great points here….
