Jonathan, thank you! I had an English teacher in high school who told us to say “I celebrate myself and sing myself” in front of a mirror every morning and that one day we would believe it. I definitely did it and still do.

Hello Caity,

What a cool article, I so admire the way you write! The things you said about change were so right. Sadly, many people do not accept change easily or at all. I must admit there was a time when I did not like change either, in the end I suppose it is fear that makes one feel this way.

In what ways have I changed for the better? Hmm I’d like to think there have been many ways I have changed for the better but one that stands out in my mind is how I have learned to love life EVERY DAY and not just looking to the future and waiting for the happiness to arrive. It is here everyday. Took me a while to get that but thankfully I did.

Being able to feel good in your own skin is amazing. Its just takes about 10- 20 days a repetitive autosuggestion to yourself. Perform this every morning when you wake up and every night b4 bedtime. Repeat the affirmation ” I like Myself”. Its will work wonders for those who need to love themselves.

Ahh, Caity is great! Kudos to you for snatching her up. I have been a fan of her blog for a while now. It amazes me how she always finds time to blog — and it’s never random “I did this and that today..,” it’s always fun, creative, & meaningful. She’s a cute gal with a wonderful outlook on life which I love! I am quite similar as her in many ways which is probably why I fell in love with your blog. It’s nice finding people out there who can relate to the same things as you, y’know. It helps that she’s so darn cute.
