What a wonderful surprise - two Magic Mondays in one week! My first thought was, wait a minute, surely it's not the same Jean Marshall who ran the first life coach training course I ever attended?! (I'm heading over after posting this to check out Jeanie's site.)

Then I saw the wonderful comments thread. You know what I'm like, Tess; I love a comments box full of long, refreshing comments and you and Jeanie have definitely generated some here. (By the way, while I remember, Victoria M's away at the moment but I'll be in touch about the book when I hear from her.)

Jeanie, I love the phrase "to hold a vision." I've used it myself for a while but I'm glad you've built such a wonderful product around the concept. It's vital, essential to the whole core of coaching. The picture on your product's perfect. As coaches, we hold visions without crushing, shaping, getting involved or merging. We bless someone else's vision with our attention, the channelling of our instincts and our protection, but we hold it in such a way that it's free to take flight at any time because we're not attached.

Someone is going to be so thrilled to win this. I don't know how you manage this every week, Tess, but it's a wonderful gift to your readers - an introduction to new inspirers and a freebie.

My vision for the blogging world is to see communities like this thriving; the world needs healing, community and inspiration and this is the way to go.

My own vision - don't laugh - is to clear the attic and get an invigorating feeling of being clean and clear back, like I used to have when I was focusing on my homelife coaching, writing more and blogging less.

I saw one of my posts as a trackback above; I don't really understand what trackbacks are - but I appreciate it, Tess. I also saw a janice mentioned as last week's winner but I can't go and check if it's me until I post this; I've done that so often - got distracted, clicked a link and lost a comment!)

This post came at a good time; it's been a week of big highs and loss-filled lows. Thanks, Tess.

Hi Tess .. thanks for opening the door to Jeanie and her creative visualisation .. I can 'see' what you are both saying .. I've experienced it recently with the incredible healer who has helped my mother so much .. and become a daughter to her and a sister to me .. and she visualises and definitely sees things in completely different ways .. I'm so looking forward to connecting more with her .. but one thing at a time: my mother.

I am starting to visualise more .. I probably did .. but now I have that goal, that passion, that future and I can see the jigsaw pieces and they will all come together in due time.

Thanks for seeing what we need ..

I love lots of comments but what even means more to me is when I touch someone deeply. I think I just have. And I'm blessed to be able to. You rock!

Wow, you have very strong vision statements. It is so easy to join with you to hold these visions, which I will do over the next 30 days.

I'm so glad you like my sites. The Inner smile Quick tip was inspired by a colleague who ask for some comfort in a troublesome situation. She found it transformative.

Make it a Beautiful Day!

OMG!!! Tess - I ADORE this phrase - "holding a client's vision". What a WONDERFUL way to phrase such an important concept!

Thank you - thank you - thank you!!! This phrase is totally helping me to reframe what it is I do with my clients. I had seen myself as a "nag" or a "bearer of bad news" and instead I am "holding their business vision as they navigate the turbulent and ever changing seas of the internet".

What a HUGE difference there is between the two.

Thank you!

My current vision for myself is to be able to work fulltime in the area of inspiration and healing, loving more people and being surrounded by beautiful truthful and trustworthy friends and family :-) For my vision of the world, I imagine a more peaceful place where people continue to build bridges and sharing their resources to those who are more in need of it.

Jeanie,
More power to your site! I've visited it and read some of your quick tips. I particularly liked the one about having our own inner smile :-)
