Tess Marshall here! The Bold Life is a delicious and juicy mix of inspiration, spirituality, and personal development.

I'm here to inspire you to follow your heart, unearth your bold, and create a meaningful and love-filled life.

If I helped you to be more courageous and to step beyond your fears today, I have done my job. If I made a difference in your world today, I have done my job.

I believe we’re here on planet earth to grow in kindness and love. In order to do so, we need to let go of fear and take bold action. Doing so will impact every area of your life in a positive way.

Recommendations for a Bold Life:
Look at things you have never seen before. Go places you have never been before. Do things you have never done before.

What we think, what we know, or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence. The only consequence is what we do.

Seize the moment. Open up. Don't hold back. Get your bold on!

Don’t worry about who doesn’t like you, who has more or who’s doing what. Release desperation. It’s the ego voice attempting to distract you from your own success. Relax and live with patience, persistence and determination.

Appreciate everything. Love everyone. Play full out. Be brave. Speak up. Feel your emotions. Lighten up. Participate in adventure.

Be bold, be brave and move forward with a peaceful and loving heart. Make your life matter!

I'm a wife, mom, author, speaker, spiritually-based, fear-shattering, calculated risk-taker, witty, loving, passionate, runner, traveler, and ADHD hyper human being.

I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. But my real knowledge has come from experiencing life with my heart wide open. My biggest teachers are my husband, my four adult daughters and their families. They challenge me to love unconditionally.

Hi Tess,
It makes me happy to read you…such a lively, ongoing and creative being…I love people like that, because I am not so far away as you, I know it, that’s why I am reading….
Keep going doing what you love doing, honouring your being and all the gifts that has been given to you…
I love when you write that you are ADHD, cause sometimes I do feel the same, always on the go, making things happen, quick minded, exhuberant…and you may know also that sometimes the pace seems going slow…
Anyway, so far, I am enjoying each moment that life is giving me, knowing it is meant to be so, for the right reason….
Be bold and beautiful Tess….
Love
Danielle

Tess,

What a great post! Thanks for these reminders, especially for those of us who consider ourselves enlightened and spiritually mature. How easy it is to backslide when the relatives arrive at dinner.

I had to pull my own coattail just last week at Thanksgiving. Whew! I had to heed my own advice.

This is hilarious! Particularly I forget when my son-in-laws arrive. I may be doing great but then my ego tempts me to “get in their back yard.” I’m getting better at not jumping right in;)

Hi Tess,

The bold life is really a bold move by you..It was accidentally that I stumbled upon your blog and have fallen in love ever since I stepped in.

Thank you for sharing such a daring thought and have a couple of questions pertaining to living a bold life..

1. I would want to be a full time trainer..What stops me from taking that bold move is because I am the bread winner of my family and I don’t have to capital to do the marketing..So could you please help me in taking a bold move..

Looking forward to hear from your end..For your kind information I am also a blogger and a behavioral training professional.

Sincerely,
Rafi

Tess, I visited another site that you had written on and shared how much you were moved by a quote on an AIDS quilt some time ago. I am touched by the inspiration it gave you because that quote is very dear to my heart. Nearly 30 years ago, my family lost my uncle to AIDS, his name was Jeff. And in remembrance, family and friends, worked together to make a quilt using the quote “IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE. TELL EVERYBODY”. We each chose a letter from the quote to create and sew on. You may also remember an envelop in the lower right corner that was filled with all the letters we wrote to him, sharing our best memories of his time with us. Although his time here on earth was cut short, he made a huge impact and managed to leave us with some very powerful final words that I will forever remember and be guided by.

Just wanted to say WOW! I’ve logged back on after a very long break, nurturing my family and myself through some hard times and have been meandering through a few old favourite sites, just quietly and gradually seeing who’s still at home while I do the hard work of recalibrating my blog and the remnants of my online life. And what a home! Your site’s exploded since I’ve been away – such glorious, thriving vibrancy! (When I was last here, it was the goldfish banner!) I’m so happy for you Tess; you’ve been working hard for years, steadily growing, evolving, sharing and helping and you deserve every bit of success you get! Wishing you all good things!!
