The following is an interview with my good friend, Victor Schueller.

Victor is a  is the “Professor of Positivity and Possibility.”  As a coach, speaker, and author, Victor helps people learn how to deal with life’s tough situations. Today we talk specifically about his new program Get Fit for Life. Victor is an expert, he lost 70 lbs. in one year!

Why is your program called “Fit for Life,” and what is it about?

The reason why this program is called “Fit for Life” is because I wanted to create a wellness program that not only focuses on losing weight, but also focusing on how people can keep the weight off and maintain an active lifestyle.

The program is all about giving people the tools necessary to maintain a good level of wellness and fitness for the rest of their lives.

What do you see as the biggest obstacle to maintaining good health and fitness?

The biggest obstacle I see is overcoming the mental aspect of personal wellness.  Many times people look at losing weight as the goal.  They treat it as a destination.

Losing weight is a goal, but they forget about the journey that follows, which is keeping the weight off through making healthy choices.  It’s hard keeping the weight off, and that’s because our mental makeup usually is programmed to work against our efforts.

What does your program offer that others don’t?

My program offers specific strategies that a person can learn and apply that helps prime them mentally to keep the weight off for good.  I designed the program after the “formula” I stumbled upon and applied when I was losing weight and still apply today to keep it off and stay fit and active.

I share not only the “losing weight” success strategies, but also the “mental” strategies I learned and applied.  Most programs simply focus on the physical aspects of wellness, which usually means helping participants to lose weight through healthy eating and increased physical activity.

My program looks at weight loss as the first step and not the ultimate objective.  My program is designed to help people become non-reliant on any weight loss programs for the rest of their lives.

I want this to be the last program they’ll ever have to do to reach their weight and health goals.  I also would like to think that I have developed a program that can work for anyone, without the reliance upon sophisticated equipment, exotic supplementation, or special diets.

I like to teach people how to lose weight and eat healthy, no matter where they live or where they go.

What does the program consist of?

The program is six weeks long, and will consist of something new each week.  It may be a video that specifically addresses basic and advanced concepts of weight loss and dietary modifications, or it could be a live session, where I will do live training and take questions from participants.

I will also be having a forum, where participants can go to for support and help from me or others who are enrolled.  One of the most exciting aspects of the program will be that I will be opening up to the participants and asking for their input.

I want to know what they want to know and what they want to focus on.  I will take their feedback and weave it into the course, so that I make sure that I am specifically addressing those requests as part of the program.

In addition to those resources, I’ll be sharing my exact activities that I have used to stay fit, including the same stretches I do, the same exercises I do, and the same vitamins and supplements that I use now.

I’ll be throwing in some other bonuses too, like some free audio programs to help address the difficulty of finding time to exercise and the other mental aspects of keeping fit, as well as an opportunity to do a one-on-one session with me where participants can ask me anything they want.

How can people find out more about this program?

First of all, I recommend that people take advantage of my free videos, where they can get over two hours’ worth of lessons from me.

On those videos, I share how I lost 70 pounds in one year, I discuss whether someone can eat junk food and still lose weight, and and I answer to the question, “How can I speed up my metabolism?”

Those videos are all available here.
Secondly, if you like what you see, and you’re thinking about enrolling, the best way to find out more about the program is to visit my website here.

I closed the comments to give you time to check out Victor's awesome program. Also please help me spread the word by sharing on Facebook and Twitter! Thanks so much!
