		<description>Albert,
Yes I love Echart Tolle I think he is egoless!

Steadymom,
I never thought of generosity as a powerful force but it is!

Patricia,
I&#039;m impressed by your creativity and thoughtfulness when it comes to this topic.

Daphne,
That is something for me to think about as well!

Jannie,
I think it&#039;s the same thing don&#039;t you? Can you give without forgiving?
Good question.

Lance
What you say is true. Give yourself credit for participating. I think we all choose different places and topics to be generous and we all participate at different levels depending on how much we want to contribute but I think everything counts!

Dustin,
How true and don&#039;t we always want to maximize our efforts? Yeah for the extra mile.

Hilda,
I&#039;m going to practice this as well.

<description>This is a great post, love it!

Sorry this suggestion is late but another way to give that I recommend often: Give what you want to receive!

<description>Great, late for the party again. (Sorry.)

I am perhaps better at &quot;for&quot;giving than giving, I confess.

I forget to give things away.

I do have many many material things, like books and CDs I may never read or listen to again. Those I should give away.

YES!

		<description>Nice article.

I have found that it is so important to go the extra mile when giving as well. Going the extra mile takes very little additional effort and it really maximizes the value of your efforts.

		<description>Hi Tess,

Today at work, we had a St. Patrick&#039;s day -themed lunch, with all the proceeds going to a local free clinic. I participated, and gave to help out - but that&#039;s not the point. The real point is the people who organized this, who put their heart behind getting this lunch ready, organizing it all, and really just making it happen. I felt good about participating - although I was also getting something in return (lunch). I have to imagine the people who organized this had a much deeper feeling of connectedness to this project. I think that&#039;s a real key to being generous - if we feel some sort of a personal connection - it becomes more meaningful...

<description>I am RICH, so long as I have SOMETHING to give to someone else.

At times it is simply my time and love. That might look like a quick phone call to say &quot;I was thinking of you&quot;, or a note in the mail if I could scrounge up enough pennies to buy a stamp. Other times it was just showing up to clean someone else&#039;s toilet when they were too sick to do it them selves.

20 years later, some of the most fond memories we share are of times when we shared our selves in sparce times!</description>

<description>Great Blog!! Unfortunately, today, I couldn&#039;t IMAGINE having wealth, or well being. I read as much inspirational/self help blogs as I can to get me through this financial crisis. Thank you for sharing!

<description>Tess, you ask good questions on giving. For example I find it easier to give money than time. Something to think about. Thanks!

<description>Nice post and clear information sharing - Thank you.
I am an exceedingly generous person, because I believe there is a flow to energy. Money is just paper and coin representing energy. How you use it shows how you feel about yourself. I also love to give gifts - a hobby.
I have to set aside how much money I can use each month for the flow of energy and for my gifts. This month we did not draw a pay check to keep 2 employees paid for another month. Flow of energy.
With no money coming in - fresh energy - my gifts had to be from what I already have. I gave 110 used books to a church fundraiser, and 4 bags of household items to help handicapped children. I edited papers for 2 students and made up a recipe which will feed us a week from what was leftover from last years garden. I turned the compost bin into the garden beds and sorted my seeds.
I just believe that we planned to cover our expenses for 6 months and that soon work will be flowing that energy back to us and giving us funds that we need.

My only anxiety is about timing and I work at flowing that away in prayer and meditation.

<description>I love being free from worrying about money! In this time of economic uncertainty, it is a real blessing.

Thanks for the ideas about how to give - generosity is a powerful force against financial worry.
